Ahoy Mateys!
Whether it was walking the plank, digging for gold, finding hidden treasures, or dressing up like a pirate, fun was had by all who attended the CLICK Play School Fair! CLICK in collaboration with Learning Services hosted a preschool fair at Tomahawk school on Wednesday April 11th.
Laughter rang out throughout the gym as children and adults celebrated learning through play! Parents, grandparents, and aunts had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations regarding their child’s development with CLICK team members as they followed their child`s lead through each center.
Every day I marvel at the amazing work the CLICK team does. I am proud to be part of a team that values the importance of collaboration and the energy and dedication each member brings to the table. It is this energy and collaboration that ensure students, teachers, colleagues, and families are supported. Wednesday was just another example of this. Many hands made the fair a success, and as we all caravanned back to Broxton tired, I know it could have never been done without the support, commitment and energy of the team!
The CLICK program (Children Learning in Inclusive Community and Kindergartens) was created in 2006 by Parkland School Division. CLICK supports student aged 2.5 to 5 with severe needs. These children receive Program Unit Funding (PUF).
The CLICK team is a multi-disciplinary team which consists of Collaborative Teaching Partners, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Assistants, an Educational Psychologist, Educational Assistants, parents, kindergarten teachers, coordinators, and administrators, who all want what’s best for children!
CLICK provides programming for children in a variety of settings within the division.
- Early Education programming at Ecole Broxton Park School and four satellite programs; Brookwood, Meridian Heights, Tomohawk, and Parkland Village.
- Community playschools within the division.
- Parkland School Kindergarten programs
Heather H is one of the CLICK Coordinators and works out of Ecole Broxton Park School. She loves technology and helping students to achieve what they didn`t think was possible.

Hi Heather, it truly was a wonderful afternoon and you are so right…the CLICK team truly is a gifted and talented group of individuals! Thank you for all you do in Parkland SD to support students and their families.
Love it!
