In my K-9 years, I have learned a countless number and variety of useful and mandatory skills. These have helped me move on to a better person, more mature and able to move on in school and in life. Ranging from actual school subjects to respect and proper mannerisms, all these skills are helping me move on and improve my life.

Throughout my school years, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge in subjects, which has shaped my view for the future and made me able to continue on and do whatever I love in life. Without my schooling, I couldn’t get into high school and post-secondary, and would miss out on a ton in life. Furthermore, I have learned to think before I speak, and how to keep my nose clean and avoid trouble. School has taught me lessons and matured me to a point of coexistence and understanding with teachers. Lastly, I have learned a ton of things specifically in school that you need to know in the big wide world. These include business letters, APA format, that sort of thing. But despite all that, I think the thing of most value I have learned is a good work ethic. Hard work pays off every time, and in all aspects of life, a hard work attitude will get you far.

I’d like to end off by saying my Meridian experience has been a positive and awesome experience. I couldn’t think of a better school, or better teachers, or better kids. Thank you for everything, I will miss this school.

Lucas is a Grade 9 student at Ecole Meridian Heights School. He loves baseball, volleyball, basketball, and intellectual challenges of all types.  Lucas shares his home with a brother and two educators. Lucas will bring his mind (and body) to Spruce Grove Composite in the fall.

Continue to think, create and reflect throughout high school.

    Good luck.
