H.A.S.S. is an event that will teach you extra ordinary things. AS well as having lots of fun and meet new people! I think that H.A.S.S. is a wonderful experience, and students should take every opportunity available to go.
If you are a student privileged to go, be prepared to do a lot of fun activities, meet new exciting people, and learn exciting information. Some of the things that i did at H.A.S.S. include decorating a paper puzzle piece, dancing, and learning about the tower garden. I also learned about the impacts that human beings have on the earth.
When I learned about the tower garden, I was quite intrigued. You do not need as much soil for the tower garden and you can grow practically anything! Ranging from strawberries, veggies and even pumpkins! The tower garden has an easy watering section, just pour into the small slot and done. The tower garden has a timer that heats the growing plants. The items that do not grow are veggies or fruit that have roots. The tower is quite large.
The impact that human beings have on the earth is a huge problem for my generation. We made a “WORDLE” all about it. A “WORDLE” is a bunch of words bunched up to make a design. Some of the words that came up, from or group discussion, were: pollution, extinction, global warming and many, many more. We learned that we need to take initiative and take care of our planet with great efforts.
Overall, H.A.S.S. is a great event! I think if you have a chance to go, GO! H.A.S.S is extraordinary and a ton of fun. I am so excited that i went.
