Our final entry of the series from Grade 6 students at Stony Plain Central School participating in an online math course offered by Stanford University called How to Learn Math: For Students.
I learned that I was right about some video games being educational and math applies to everything. I also learned that memorizing is not needed, group work is better than by yourself and it is good to be slow in math. Rumours like only math people are good at math and math is officially hard are wrong. If you approach math with a growth mindset instead of a fixed mindset will make you have better results.
