In Social Studies we have been learning what it was like in the past. To help us get more of a feel of what the past was like, we took a trip to St. Albert and visited the Little White School House and the Father Lacombe Chapel. At the Little White School House we were treated exactly like the students in the 1950s were treated. The types of punishments and the ways students had to behave were sure different than they are now. At the Father Lacombe Chapel we learned how people lived a hundred years ago. Everyone got to touch different types of furs, make a part to a satchel and taste bannock. This field trip was a great way to learn and experience what the past was like!
