We had a blast visiting downtown Edmonton as a way of exploring unique bridges and structures for our Structures and Forces unit in science. We started at the High Level Bridge where we made some observations and drawings. From there, we made our way over to see the old Walterdale Bridge and the current construction of the replacement bridge. Students will have the opportunity to hear from the project manager of the bridge construction tomorrow! We then finished up our trip by spending some time in Churchill Square, looking at the unique and interesting buildings and even got to take a tour of the Edmonton Art Gallery.
