As part of my PD this year I am attending what is called the Learning Leader project. In this we learn different ways tha we can implement technology into our classrooms. Part of this is using an ipad in the class as a resource. We learned about an app called Haiku Deck which allows you to create a presentation that mimics powerpoint without the much hated flaw of having paragraphs of writing on each slide. It is a basic update that outlines what we are doing in each subject.
Unfortunately I can’t give a full presentation with it…maybe fortunately for you…but I would love feedback as to what you think. This is a program that I will be having the students use to create something of their own as part of our centers during guided reading.
