Resiliency is defined as the demonstration of positive adaptation among children and youth despite challenges, obstacles or areas of risk that they may encounter in their social contexts and living circumstances (Small & Memmo, 2004; Axvig, Bell & Nelson, 2009).

Examples of wellness and resiliency are as diverse as the school communities we serve.  This blog showcases the way that meaningful relationships are being created using a comprehensive school health approach within each school community in partnership with government, business, and non-profit organizations.
