We had some exciting news today. Grade 4 students wrote poems to enter in the Alberta Winter Games Poetry Project earlier this year. Today we found out that two of our students, Jordan S. and Alicia H. had their poems selected for the top 20 out of the over 200 submissions! Their poems are going on display at the Spruce Grove Composite High School this week.
The even better news is that we are all winners! A line or two from each of our poems is being used on a poster for the VIP Reception at the Best Western in Stony Plain.
