Leader In Me Parent Information Session

April 8th, 2013

Parents…come and enjoy our Parent’s Conference based on Stephen Covey’s best-selling Book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

This interactive conference will provide significant ”take-aways” for you and provide essential information about why The Leader-in-Me “program” is creating momentum world-wide.

What important life skills are our kids learning?  How can we incorporate them at home?  Come and find out!

When:  Saturday, April 20, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Childcare spots are full but there is still lots of room in the conference for adult attendees.  Our goal is 100 parents!

Skating Postponed!

March 20th, 2013

Just a quick reminder that skating tomorrow is being postponed as there is a huge dump of snow forecasted over night, as well the rink is still covered in the snow from last week!

We will be having a staff vs. students basketball game instead in the afternoon! I will try for skating or snowshoeing again after spring break!

Have a great break! :)

Ethan is a Star!

March 15th, 2013

This past week, Ethan was our star.  He did a fabulous job of leading the morning routine and helping out with other classroom jobs.

While the student’s were making their booklet for what they love about Ethan, he wrote the following paragraph to be posted on the blog.

I like Skylander’s because I like video games. I like Pokemon because I am good at playing. I love to play “cowboys” because I get to be the cowboy.  I love hot pink and pink. I love my family because they are special to me. I love school because I get to learn more. I like soccer because I score lots of goals. I like my friends because they are nice. I like my brother because he is nice to me and lets me sleep in his bed.  I like my bike, soccer ball, and my hockey net.

Good job Ethan! You were a great Star of the Week!!

Miss Orris :)
