PSD70 Learning Coach Program

A Parkland School Division Blog Site

Getting Started

Two weeks into the school year I am amazed at how much new technology has been “crammed” into my brain.  what is more amazing, perhaps, is that  I am beginning to use the technology as a tool to build relationships and share learning.

Hi Analee, I think every day that I can say I learned something new is a great day! Thank you for modeling being a learner and being willing to share your learning with us. At our session today; Strengthening Inclusive and Instructional Practices one of the keynote speakers spoke about coaches needing to embody and value these characteristics of a learner and then help nurture this same environment in the school:
    – Self-awarenmess
    – Self-reflection
    – Self-monitoring
    – Self-management
    – Self-evaluation
I am looking forward to our group reflections on how we are influencing the culture in our schools.
