On Friday, May 8 we will be welcoming a couple of baby goats to our school. These friendly and cute little ones will help us to help others. Students are invited to bring in a toonie which can be given to their homeroom teacher. Then on May 8 they may have their picture taken with one of our “kids” that will be visiting for the day. Once photos are developed they will be delivered to the students. All proceeds will be donated to Free the Children and will be used to buy the gift of goats for needy families. A family will then have daily nourishment that the goat milk can provide. Extra milk is often sold to make money for other needy items that can then be bought. Free the Children focusses on providing materials(goats and other materials) to mostly women raising families alone so that they may have a sustainable way of supporting themselves and their children. Thank you in advance for your support. Questions can be directed to Mrs. Matsuba (firstname.lastname@example.org). More information can also be found on the Free the Children website.
