Final Report Cards Available Online

Your child’s report card is now accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Due to a technical glitch with our system the report card does NOT indicate the next grade that your child will be moving on to on the back page. Unless you have had the conversation with your teacher or the principal saying otherwise then your child will be moving on to the next grade in the fall.
For information on how to sign on to the PowerSchool Parent Portal click HERE.

Attention All Singers!

If you had not considered joining choir, but would like to add it to your schedule, please talk to one of the counsellors at the high school to rearrange things or talk to Mrs. Gottenbos for more information.

Also, just to make you aware, there will be auditions for one of the MCHS Choirs this Friday.  Mixed Ensemble is their only select-voice choir where incoming students are required to audition for admittance to the group.  They’re hoping to add a significant number of singers to the group this year (especially men) as they are losing a lot of grade 12s.

Grade 9 students are able to audition between 3:30 and 5:00 on Friday, June 15th.  Auditions are in the music room at MCHS.  You can email the choir directors directly, ( and or contact myself to help make those arrangements.  For auditions, you should prepare an a capella song to sing and then be prepared to do some range and ear testing.   The audition should take approximately 10 minutes.
This is a fantastic opportunity that many of our Muir Lake students have taken and thoroughly enjoyed!  Let me know if I can answer any questions.
