Off to the Harlem Globetrotter Game

L Bruha with BFast TeleLeyvi Bruha was the lucky winner of a VIP Family Pack of Harlem Globetrotter tickets from the Breakfast Television Shoot Out. Natalie, Leyvi’s mom, had entered the draw and had forgotten all about it until staff from The Breakfast Television called to tell her that they were one of the finalists and that they needed to be downtown Edmonton by 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning so that they could be on the morning show.

Senior Boys Basketball Team Brings Home The Championship Banner!

The senior boys basketball team succeeded in winning the final year end tournament to finish 1st place! This is the first basketball championship that Muir Lake has ever one. The banner will proudly hang  in the gym as a testament to these boys drive and work ethic.

These boys truly demonstrated the power of a team.

The girls are off to a quick 2-0 start, coming from behind to win their last game in overtime. They were trailing at the half, but did not give up and ended up winning by one point in overtime!

The boys have only played one game thus far. After getting behind quite a bit, they rallied to make it a nail biter at the end just coming up short from the victory.
