The Calahoo Meats and Gourmet Perogies orders will be available for pick up on Monday December 7th from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

Calahoo Meats Fundraiser

It is Spring, now is a good time to plan your barbeque season! It is also time for the Calahoo Meats fundraiser!

The Muir Lake School Grade 5 classes have taken on the Calahoo Meat Fundraiser in hopes of raising enough money to go on their annual camping trip.

Click the link for an Order Form  or a product brochure that you can share with your family and friends. Please condense your family & friends’ orders on to one order form.  These forms have gone home with the students and extra order forms are also available at the school office.

The order form along with payment will be accepted until the end of the school day on Friday April 10th. Please keep a copy of the order form for your records and to help you distribute your order. Late orders will not be accepted as this will delay the pick-up date.  Please make cheques payable to Muir Lake Community School Foundation (MLCSF).

A pick-up date has been set for the afternoon of Friday, May 1st 1:30 to 4:00 at the Muir Lake School.  You are responsible to pick up your total order from the school and distribute to your family and friends. It is important to pick up your orders at this time as unfortunately we do not have the freezer space to store the boxes for any length of time.

CalahooMeatsWith May long weekend just around the corner, now is a good time to plan your barbeque season! It’s also time for the Calahoo Meats fundraiser! Info packages have gone home with the students before Spring Break but an order form is available by clicking HERE or go to http://bit.ly/CalahooMeatsOrder.  The product brochure that you can share with your family and friends is available HERE or by going to http://bit.ly/CalahooMeatsBrochure. Please condense your family & friends’ orders on to one order form. The Muir Lake School Student Tech Team has taken on the Calahoo Meat Fundraiser in hopes of raising enough money to bring in some much needed Audio/Video equipment for the school. The student tech team is involved in setting up all of the audio and video equipment for assemblies and concerts, as well as helping other students and staff with tech issues.

REMINDERS FROM THE OFFICE

  • Students are not able to come to school before 7:30 am as the staff is not here before this time.
  • Please let your child’s teacher and/or the office know if your child is going to be away from school or late in the morning.
  • Anytime that your child is dropped off or picked up from school – regardless of the time – they must be signed in or out at the office.
  • All visitors must check in at the office.
  • When coming to pick up your child, please have the secretaries call their classroom and have them sent to the office to meet you.
  • Volunteers – please sign in and out at the office.
  • The 4 pm transfer buses are NOT intended for use by the Muir Lake School students. If your child is staying past the regular bus times, for whatever reason, arrangements must be made to either pick up your child or call transportation (780-963-8425) ahead of time to get permission for your child to ride the 4 pm bus.

When dropping off or picking up your child

 Please do so in the Muir Lake Hall parking lot; this is a serious safety concern.
