Get to the heart of it
If I could summarize what I’m think about this book so far… I think this book is probably one of my favorite novels so far because it has a lot of interesting theme… Ex. The jail cell, and I like how the author age one of the characters around the age of 13 and I can somehow related to that even though the character is a boy… maybe because I know boys around that age that I can I can connected to.
“We’ll go back to our farm,” Diego said. He knew that it wasn’t their farm. They just live on it and work on it, but it felt like theirs.
It was hard to imagine what Corina would do. She’s never seen the farm… that pretty much told me that his little sister, Corina was born and rises in the jail and she probably have never see the outside world
If I could summarize what I’m thinking about this character so far… I think Diego (the main Character) is very generous and kind. He always thinks about how he going to help his family and earn some big money so that his mother wouldn’t have to work. His Family is probably on the top of his life chart then himself comes second; I thought that’s a very gentlemen thing to do.
The Book has this title because… I Am a Taxi because Diego earning money by being a taxi to raising his family in a Women prisoner
