the invisible hand

The invisible hand
The invisible hand is how the market changes without someone actually meaning to change it. It I mostly changed by consumers. It also has to do with supply and demand. All of the prices are regulated on competition. If there are more people going to a gas station the other than the competitor should lower their prices to get more customers. The best way to get more people, is to have the most and the best incentives. An incentive is another word for advertisement. For example: “come to Wal-Mart we roll down our prices”. The need to have deals and sales but they still need to work with their profit so if they give something away for free it has a big effect on there profit. When salesmen get something in there store they have to sell the product more for more than what it actually cost them. That is what profit is. If another competitor goes out of business sometimes they would partner up in one business

New land

Hi friends and family. I have not seen you in about five years. I went to find new land with some other settlers we ran into some others. The one man was quite wealthy. I offered to work for them because they didn’t have a black smith. They took the offer. Now I am living the life of a king. But we are still limited on food. We are trying to work with the people around to expand resources. We are using the land around to produce bridges and other buildings. Michel the wealthy man brought livestock for food and sell. I could have gone any were because the demand was big for black smith. I am sharing the land Michel two slaves and two soldiers. I live in my smith shop well everyone else lives in the house. My shop got custom made to my liking.

We are gifted with the land that we got. There here is a little bit of everything. Trees, grass, wheat field, sand and we are right beside the river. And if we need anything else we will trade something to get it. We have many things to trade but the biggest one is money because we have a lot of it thanks to Michel. Once we claim our land will try to get you guys down here. Right now my business is booming I am huge in fact in a matter of time we will rich. But it does not come easy all of the work that i do is long and hard hours.
The weather has kept up. Are little bit of crop is now a lot. The more the rain the better because the rivers are higher and all of of our vegetation is growing faster. And it makes thing a lot easier to transport things.
Sincerely,
Nolan Lonsdale

Kony 2012

Kony 2012
I thought that kony 2012 was a good video. To keep aware on what is going on around the world. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the money that is raised might not go to the cause, part of the money will be going to the company . And another thing I don’t like is that the whole thing could start another war. I know that were trying to help but I still think that we should let the police there try handle it . but overall it is a good cause. And it turned into a viral video.

Inference

Hitler’s daughter

The author did something unexpected when. The four kids stopped telling the story the stared at the bus stop. I thought that they were going to stop tell the story; I expected the story to change and be told a whole different way. but the author kept me guessing and the four kids made plans to go back and tell the story. And further in the story the author keeps me guessing.

I changed my opinion when…. The story started to get more real. And it was like two stories were being told.i thought that it was a good book to keep you interested it was also a little informing. It also gave us a bit of fiction and non-fiction history fact throughout the books .

I thought I missed something when . well not so much in the book but when but when I seen Hitlers. I thought this was going to be a true story about Hitler’s daughter. I thought Hitler had a daughter, that I haven’t even herd of.

Monitoring

Hitler’s Daughter (inferring)

What did I expect to happen…..? I expected the kids to give up on telling the story, towards the end of the book. But instead of them doing so they got more into it. They did research, they asked teachers and they talked about it with their parents. Mark payed more attention to the story about Hitler’s daughter than his school work. They were so into it they got together on weekend and Anna told the story. But something was bothering mark. He had thoughts of Hitler still being alive and wondering if he even had a daughter. It kept they guessing and me guessing.

IT doesn’t tell me ( yet ) but I think……… that one of them has something to do with Hitler. And maybe even Hitler’s daughter. I think that because there are kind of little hint throughout the book. For example Anna doesn’t seem to ask her parent much about It. And when her mom asks her what she wants to go to the bus stop so early. She just says they are telling stories not about what kind of stories. And she knows quite a bit about the subject.

The author didn’t spell it out, but it must mean that ….Anna’s family has something to hide because the don’t go in to much detail with her and her family. Personally I think the story she is telling links to her. They go into detail with marks family. And mark is the only worried one about the story. And mark and little Tracy are the only ones that ask all of the questions. Anna knows way to much about Hitler and the world around him for her age.

Difference Makers – Revised

How do difference makers make a difference?
Difference makers make a difference in many ways .They are every were. It isn’t very hard to make a difference. It can be helping out at a old folks home to starting charities. They can do the littlest things or big things. There are many ways shapes and forms to help people. Difference makers are the ones that help the world function right.

A good example of a difference maker is Kofi Hope. His first interest of social justice and community activism took flight in his early high school years. and it gradually got big. A director of a outreach program. He ran a program for youth at the united church. It increased the churches capacity for the racist awareness. He is also the founder and chairmen of the black youth coalition against violence. He is still working on making a difference. he has made a hug impact on awareness of racism. But it still happens. Kofi wants people to help him make a stand.if you see it happen report it.

Ben Heppner is a sing and song writer but he still makes a difference he didn’t realy make a difference but he had a storey of who inspired him. He learned his stories of faith. He encourages people to help the sick. To help the faint of heart. To comfort those who grieve and who suffer. He says that he isn’t a person that starts programs he is just a person encouraging people to get up and make a difference. he wants more people to be aware of the thing that are going on in the world. there are people doing good things and people doing bad things in the world. he want people to be aware of those people.

Drew Brees is active in a number of charitable activities. As a result of both his on field success with the Saints and his extensive charitable activities since arriving in New Orleans. After the hurricane in new Orleans he has donated many checks and has started charities of his own. Drew singed to a restaurant and made a new line of hamburgers. All of the proceeds went to charities. He was part of the celebrity cast on Deepwater horizon spill, Brees appeared in a commercial to aware people of the spill. He was also on a video on a anti-bullying message of a series of gay teenage suicides. It Gets Better.he was discriminated by being told he should quit football. But he didn’t let that get in his way he ended up making it to the NFL.
Bill gates is a big difference maker in the world of technology. He is the co ceo of Microsoft ( computer program and maker of Xbox. also has some of the best selling video games). He doesn’t change the way people act. but he change way way people do things and how fast they do them. He has also raised money for charities. But he changed computers entirely. He turned his life around after spending time in jail at a young age. Was a smart kid at a young age .he goes around to talking to kids and telling them if you did somthing bad you can change , you cant change what you did but you change your self.

Pat Hansen, he is in a wheel chair do to a spinal core injury. he did a tour across Canada for spinal cord injury awareness. He raised a lot of money. he raised around two million dollars. him and terry fox are a lot alike but the thing that they have in common the most is that they are both difference makers. pat is still raising money every year for wheel chair type injuries. every year there are different events that take place and all proceeds go toward the charities.

These people are great. There are many more people that make a difference. and you can to. the world is changing and we have to change with it.
