Due to the rain and slippery roads, we will be postponing the School Council Parent Workshop tonight. We apologize for any inconvenience and will be rescheduling this parent learning opportunity.
School Council Parent Workshop
This Wednesday, January 21, 2015, School Council is hosting a parent workshop about Bullying and Healthy Relationships. This workshop is free of charge for all our parents/guardians of students at Parkland Village School. Felicia Ochs, Youth Resiliency Coordinator for Parkland School Division, is our Guest Speaker and will be talking about building healthy relationships with your child. Also, joining us is Valorie Livingston, giving us a parent’s perspective of the journey through a child being bullied.
Registration is not required but please arrive early to ensure you have a seat! Childcare will be provided. We hope to see you there!
PVS Student News
Check out the video of our student produced PVS news below.
We are looking for volunteers to help run a baking club with a small group of students as part of the Evolve program. The club will run from 3:00-4:00 and can be done on any day of the week depending upon the volunteers schedule. We are looking to start this club during the week of February 23.
This is a great way to make a difference and give back to the community. If you are interested or know of anybody who may be interested, please contact the Cindy via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone/text at 780-918-7825.
Happy New Year! We are excited to be back in school after Christmas break. We hope you had an amazing, restful holiday season with your loved ones.
