Thank you to Cindy Van Beers with Before and After School Care for sponsoring the Christmas Family Fun Dance on December 22nd!
Fun for all! A wonderful night of community building and celebrating the holiday spirit at Parkland Village School.
The Zones of Regulation is a curriculum aimed at supporting individuals in self-regulation and social competence. We are implementing this school wide at Parkland Village School this year. The program aims at individuals identifying tools that work for them to feel their best for learning and life. Two parent sessions are being offered: January 12th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and January 24th from 5:30-7:30. Please email Christine Ross at firstname.lastname@example.org to register. Childcare is provided for the evening session.

Students participate in our society through elected government, government services, private enterprise, or non-governmental organizations. All students apply for positions, interview, undergo performance assessments, collect wages, manage their own bank account, pay taxes and spend money – just as in the real world. So far in 2016, students have completed elections and job fairs. This video recaps the Citizenship Ceremony on November 23, 2016 officiated by the Mayor of Parkland County, Rod Shaigec.
