We have had many amazing initiatives take place at PVS for this school year! In collaboration with School Council, We are looking forward to more great things next year and would appreciate parent feedback to make the most of the 2016/17 school year another success! Please take the time to complete this short survey in order to help us do that.
All questionnaires that are completed prior to June 15, 2016 will be entered into a draw for a $50 greenhouse gift card.
We are exploring the possibility of offering some after school extra-curricular opportunities for our students. To help determine the interest level for this and to guide us in our planning, we are asking all parents to take a moment to complete this short survey. If you are interested in volunteering to support after school extra-curricular programs for our students you can also indicate this on the survey. We appreciate your feedback. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.
On behalf of the students we serve, we would like to invite you to please contribute your thoughts regarding Parkland School Division. We want to know what you think we do well and where we can improve.
We recognize that success and well-being will continually require the complete engagement of our educational stakeholders. Our Ultimate Goal, Success for All Students, is dependent upon engagement with our community. Everyone can make a meaningful contribution to public education.
Beginning next week, all our schools will be sharing a direct-survey link via email inviting participation in ThoughtExchange. You can join the conversation by providing your thoughts. In a few weeks, you will be invited to join the second step of the process – to review and help prioritize the thoughts that are most important to you and your school community.
This will help us get a sense of shared values and priorities of our school and our community. It’s also an important tool in our education planning and will help guide important decisions in the future that will allow us to deliver the best possible education to our children.
Your time spent engaged in this process is very much appreciated. Watch for the link coming home soon.
I know this may seem early… but hey, we woke up to a blanket of snow this morning so we took it as a sign to start planning our Christmas Celebration this year… after all September 8 is a reasonable time for our first snowfall of the year. 😉
We would love parent feedback about what you would like to see for this year’s Christmas Celebration. The two options are as follows:
Christmas Concert – It would either be on a Monday night at Horizon Stage or hosted here at the school over two nights. For example, the younger grades concert would be one night and the older grades would be the next night just so we can fit in the gym.
Family Fun Night – This would consist of a variety of activities that the whole family could participate in together. Some possible examples of these activities would be Gingerbread House decorating, horse sleigh ride, crafts etc.
