Air and Aerodynamic Unit Exam is tomorrow.  Please see last week blog for things to know.

I have some very disappointing news.  The field trip to the Villeneuve Airport has been canceled.  This is out of my hands and I’m sorry that I cannot make this field trip happen.  A special thank you to the McCulloch family for organizing and spearheading this field trip.  After some inquiry, I received the following information from Parkland School Division.

As per insurance and for your records.
“Aviation exposures are an absolute exclusion under a General Liability Policy.  Parkland S.D. would have no coverage should an incident or accident occur at the airport, on the tarmac, in the plane, etc.   “
This field trip is, unfortunately, not approved.
Your child will be coming home with information about the grade 7-9 French program.  Please take a look at this information and return the signed form to the school by Tuesday.  Thank you.

We will do two performances at 1:10pm and 1:55pm in the music room.  Seating is pretty limited, and this is why I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to invite parents, but it looks like we’ll be able to accommodate.
