Final Camp Information June 20-22, 2017

  1. Drop off time is  8:15 – 8:30 am in the hall parking lot    Pick –up is  2:45 – 3:00 pm in the hall parking lot
  1. Medication – if you child requires medication administered please fill in the attached form.  All medication will be administered by, a registered nurse according to the prescription on the bottle or container.  Please send in an original container with the child’s name clearly indicated. Tylenol, Advil and other over the counter medications will be given according to the WRITTEN parent instructions, with the accompanying PSD 70 medication agreement.  A doctor’s note is not required for over the counter medication.
  2. Packing lists – here is the link to the gear list.  Campers are reminded that gear that goes into garbage bags to camp rarely makes it to camp in one piece or dry.

The permission form for the June 9th field trip should have come home with your child today. As that is for next Friday please send those forms back in ASAP! Also I am still missing quite a few of the Ducks Unlimited field trip permission form. Here are links to the forms incase you need another copy:

If you can not print it off I will need you to write a note stating the date of the field trip, the students name, and that you are giving them permission to go on the trip and you will need to sign it.

Celebrate physical literacy with the 3rd Annual Try-Me Try-Athlon. This year’s event will be on Friday, June 9th at the TriLeisure Centre for students ages 5 to 18. For more information and to register go towww.psd70.ab.ca

 

School Lunch

The Hot Lunch program that usually runs from Tuesday to Friday has wrapped up leaving us with just the Fundraising Lunches.

So what does this mean?

It means that IF you have ordered through the online lunch ordering system, lunches will only be served to the students on Mondays and Thursdays through the months of May & June. Please ensure that your children have lunches each day of the week.

With this being said, don’t forget to place your final June lunch order by the end of Thursday May 11th.

I would like to ask that all Camp Forms (Bright Pink) are returned to me no later than April 28, 2017.

Camp Parent Volunteers: please return your paperwork to the office ASAP and please, please let myself or Mrs. Brownlee know if your situation has changed and you can not go!

I have been asked to share the following with you:
To Grade 5 Parents:
Just wanted to keep you all in the loop about the fundraiser for Grade 5 camp, looks like it did good!  Thank you to all those that participated in this fundraiser and the mom’s that volunteered time to organize it.  We hope to have a final number the first part of May.  We will have to make sure all the invoices are paid out to confirm what was made.  At that time we will send out a note via the teacher’s blog.
