Muir Lake Supports Fort McMurray

We are very proud of the support our school community has given to the people of Fort McMurray.  In a few short days we were able to collect $1866 to be given to the Canada Red Cross to support the victims of the Fort McMurray fire.  Once again the heart of our school community is shown to be large and strong.

Best Wishes to all families who are still struggling to deal with the affects and trauma of the Fort McMurray fire.

U of A Pediatric Parents’ Advisory Group

The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta develops family health literacy resources, and partners with two other research programs at the U of A that produce similar information resources for physicians to promote family-centered care.

The U of A is seeking volunteers for a parents’ advisory group to help guide their research, and wish to bring together diverse parental & caregiver perspectives within this group. For more information visit the website http://www.echo.ualberta.ca/en/ConnectwithECHO/PAG.aspx
